We work in cooperation with state licensing boards, associations and agencies to help health care professionals retain or regain professional licensing upon successful completion of our treatment program.   Shepherd Hill is an approved treatment provider for the State Medical Board of Ohio, the Ohio Board of Nursing and the Ohio State Dental Board. Our services for health care professionals are comprehensive and tailored to individual needs.   Three-day patient evaluation to rule out addiction or to provide diagnosis and treatment recommendations. The evaluation includes: Comprehensive history and physical examination Psychiatric evaluation, as indicated Psychological testing, as indicated Addiction assessment Social history Input from family and peers Weekly, facilitated support groups, including a nurse support group and the Caduceus group for physicians, pharmacists and other professionals. Weekly aftercare groups facilitated by a licensed counselor. Help in designing and implementing a work re-entry contract. Reporting monitoring and compliance reports to state licensing boards, associations, or agencies involved in a patient’s recovery.
